You Deserve the Depression!

I warned you.  I have been warning you for years.  Instead of listening to me, you decided to vote the way for Republicans and Democrats.  I warned that the spending can not continue.  You opted to vote for Republicans and Democrats because other parties “didn’t have a chance.”  You opted to vote for one of the parties who can’t balance a budget.  You voted for a party that believes that saving the middle class is to write a blank check to financial institutions, only to come back a month later because they need more money.

You voted for this shit.  Eat it.

Fuck you!  You DESERVE this Depression!

I Thought I’d be Ranting More

Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty to rant about.  I don’t know which is worse:  The Obama kool-aid drinkers or the Republican sheep who keep thinking that Republicans are fiscally conservative when all records show otherwise.

There’s plenty to moan about in the world of news.  I don’t understand how reporting on Britney Spear’s latest antics will affect my life.  Leave her alone.

I can go all day ranting about sports.  There’s lousy officiating, poor coaching decisions, bad execution by players, halftime being disrupted by news, and an overdose of commercials.  If there is only 17 seconds to go, don’t play a commercial.  Let’s get the 17 secounds out of the way then they’ll be plenty of time for commercials.

Dealing With Asperger’s Syndrome

I was recently diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.  It is a high-end of the autism spectrum.  I have a difficult time dealing with people I don’t know.  I have few interests, but am borderline obsessive with my interests.

One of my hobbies is blogging.  I have two other blogs besides this one.  “Vortex of Freedom” is my political blog.  The blog contains writings and opinions from a libertarian perspective.  My other blog is “Ahmnodt Heare for President“.  It is a fictional satire blog of an independent candidate for president and his dealings with the campaign trail.  Ahmnodt Heare also has a radio show on the Internet.

The symptoms of Asperger’s Syndrome from WebMD:

What Are the Symptoms of Asperger’s Syndrome?

The symptoms of Asperger’s syndrome vary and can range from mild to severe. Common symptoms include:

  • Problems with social skills: Children with Asperger’s syndrome generally have difficulty interacting with others and often are awkward in social situations. They generally do not make friends easily.
  • Eccentric or repetitive behaviors: Children with this condition may develop odd, repetitive movements, such as hand wringing or finger twisting.
  • Unusual preoccupations or rituals: A child with Asperger’s syndrome may develop rituals that he or she refuses to alter, such as getting dressed in a specific order.
  • Communication difficulties: People with Asperger’s syndrome may not make eye contact when speaking with someone. They may have trouble using facial expressions and gestures, and understanding body language. They also tend to have problems understanding language in context.
  • Limited range of interests: A child with Asperger’s syndrome may develop an intense, almost obsessive, interest in a few areas, such as sports schedules, weather or maps.
  • Coordination problems: The movements of children with Asperger’s syndrome may seem clumsy or awkward.
  • Skilled or talented: Many children with Asperger’s syndrome are exceptionally talented or skilled in a particular area, such as music or math.

The overwhelming majority of people with Asperger’s are diagnosed as children.  Although I have had the symptoms my entire life, I was not diagnosed until I was 43 years old.  Asperger’s Syndrome was unheard of during my childhood, but was first discovered by Dr. Hans Asperger in the 1940’s.

My childhood was different than most children.  I didn’t learn how to speak until I was 3 1/2 years old.  My first word was “apostrophe.”  I spent more time reading baseball and football boxscores than I did playing baseball or football.  I had few friends, a problem not helped by having a nomadic childhood.  I spent many evenings listening to radio stations from other parts of the country and Canada.

I spent so much time with inane things that my people skills have never properly developed.  I do not like “small talk”.  Conversations should have a purpose.

Now that I know what is wrong, I can take steps to fix what I can fix and accept what I cannot.

It does not matter if McCain or Obama win this Tuesday – we’re screwed.  Neither plan to lower the debt anytime soon.

If we want long-term economic prosperity in this country, we will have to cut spending.  We are almost at the pointwhere we will have to spend $1trillion every year just to pay debt.  This is money that is not going to any program or taxpayer and cannot stimulate the economy.  We will still need to run the constitutional essentials of government and the bureaucracy that the democrats and republicans love shoving down our throats.

Education and health care were at its best before government intervened.  This is a fact based on how much of our tax dollars goes towards these programs and we get less in return.

There are other programs that are failing in spite of apparent success.  The infamous “War on Drugs” is one of them.  It seems to be successful because they target innocent people like yourself as a way to show they are “working on it.”  We have also wasted billions of dollars locking up productive people whose only crime isthat they like to get high.

We have tried an all-Democratic government and an all-Republican government.  Both have been so successful that after a few years, we want to throw out the ruling party out and replace it with the party that failed previously and had to be replaced with the current party.

Everybody thinks that Senator Ted Stevens is a scumbag except for partisan Republicans.  Everybody thinks that House Representative Charles Rangel is a scumbag except for partisan Democrats.  Both parties have resorted to shady tactics to assure that other parties and independents are shut out in the process.

If you had enough of BOTH parties taking and spending YOUR hard earned money on programs that only benefit those who support their campaigns, then vote for other parties and independents.  Things will continue to get worse until both parties are shoved out the door.

This Sucks

I have just started this thing and already I have to go on hiatus.  I have a lot of issues I have to take care of.  It will take time before the issues are resolved.  If I am not around by the holidays, I would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, a Happy Chanukah, and a Happy New Year.
